What is Holistic Nutrition?
Holistic Nutrition takes into account our Mind, Body and Lifestyle. Each one of these plays a role in our health and what affects one, affects the other. For long-term success, each one of these must be addressed.
Unfortunately, most of us have food working against us, (and not all of that is our fault!) Food is not the same as it was many years ago and we're exposed to an array of toxins - preservatives, pesticides, flavour and colour enhancers thanks to the food manufacturers. |
This assault on our health results in issues like weight gain and the inability to lose it, painful joints, food sensitivities, bloating, IBS, low energy, irritability, depression, anxiety...the list goes on.
My job (and my passion) is to help individuals get food working FOR them, instead of AGAINST them, so they become healthier and stronger, they feel better, and are able to lose weight more easily (without dieting).
I provide nutritional services both IN-PERSON and ONLINE and both ONE-ON-ONE and in GROUP programs. Check out my Services page HERE.

Keys To Looking And Feeling Healthier

Our bodies are designed to protect themselves and to heal, but often, they're not able to because of what we put in and on our bodies, as well as our lifestyle choices and the way we think. This is when disease, illness and weight gain sets in.
Sometimes, we're not aware of how bad we feel until it improves; possibly because feeling poorly has been a part of our life for so long and we don’t know any different or perhaps we learn to adapt to things like weight gain, fatigue, aches & pains, bloating, constipation, allergies, anxiety, depression..... that we come to accept it as 'our normal.'

I coach individuals to stop dieting (which damages their metabolism, making it harder to lose weight the next time) and I help clear the confusion on the plethora of dieting information out there on the internet, and help them to discover how to "Eat their way Slim."
I know how difficult it can be to balance the busyness of life with health, good nutrition and fitness (I'm a busy mom and wife - I get it!), so I make it as easy as possible in a step-by-step manner.
